Changing the Course of Student Lives
CIS Results in Nevada
With the goal of keeping students in school while surrounding them with a caring community, CIS of Nevada is proud of its results and the real-world impact we have on their lives.
Our program currently serves more than 100,000 students in 110 schools throughout Nevada.
We are partnered with 80 schools in Southern Nevada, 15 schools in Northeastern Nevada and 15 schools in Western Nevada. By providing resources and opportunities, we’re helping fill the opportunity gap one student at a time. Our individualized programs work from a scientifically proven model that has led to measurably improved behavior and attendance and boosted career readiness, as you’ll see below.

Student & Site Coordinator Stories
There are some things you can measure — graduation rates, attendance, promotion to the next grade level — and some things you cannot. When it comes to the impact of student support services, students benefit greatly from a relationship with their site coordinator. Their social/emotional lives improve, they develop skills to help them succeed in the real world and they are able to start dreaming of a better future. Here are some of their stories.
