MGM Resorts COO Ayesha Molino Joins the CIS of Nevada Board

A decade-long partnership between MGM Resorts International and Communities In Schools (CIS) of Nevada is reaching a new milestone: Ayesha Molino, chief operating officer at MGM Resorts, has joined the CIS of Nevada board of directors.

Molino’s appointment deepens the relationship between CIS and MGM Resorts, which has already changed thousands of students’ lives.

MGM Resorts has been a consistent champion for CIS of Nevada. Between 2019 and 2026, the company invested nearly $700,000 to fund evidence-based Integrated Student Support services, our in-school model that connects kids and families with the resources they need to thrive. On top of that corporate investment, MGM Resorts employees have given back through the MGM Resorts Foundation, contributing more than $215,000 in grants since 2019.

Now, that partnership is moving from the classroom and the community into the boardroom.

Molino brings a wealth of leadership experience to her new role. As COO of MGM Resorts International, she oversees the company’s Las Vegas and regional properties, as well as corporate functions spanning sales, revenue management, human resources, government affairs, and public relations. Before stepping into that role, she served simultaneously as chief public affairs officer, president, and COO of Aria and Vdara.

Prior to her time at MGM, Molino held several leadership positions in the U.S. Senate, including chief counsel to former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. She currently sits on multiple industry boards, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside, and a law degree from The George Washington University Law School.

The CIS Impact

CIS of Nevada’s work shows with data-backed results. For two consecutive school years, including the most recent, our organization achieved a 97% graduation rate among the seniors it served, far surpassing what many students would have achieved without a caring adult in their corner.
