Celebrating Promotions Across Our CIS Nevada Team

Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS), the nation’s leading evidence-based stay-in-school organization serving 117 Nevada schools with regional offices in the Clark, Elko, Humboldt, and Washoe County school districts, is thrilled to announce several well-deserved promotions across our state!

Natalie Allin has been promoted to Data Director for the State Office. Natalie has been part of the CIS team for more than six years, starting as a Site Coordinator and most recently serving as our Senior Data Strategist. Based in the Reno office, Natalie works closely with all affiliates to foster a positive data culture and plays a key role in our Reaccreditation and Annual Risk Management Assessment work. We are so excited to see Natalie lead our data strategy into the future!

Teri Saldana moves into her new role as Administrative & HR Support Manager. Teri will be expanding her work in HR administrative functions as well as providing project management support for the Development and Engagement team. With nearly six years as a CIS champion, we’re excited for her to bring her talents to this expanded role!

More congratulations are in order for Kenesha Thompson, who has been promoted to Senior Human Resources Director. With over 22 years of experience in HR across the medical field, retail, military, and nonprofit sectors, Kenesha brings unmatched expertise and heart to her work. She continues to lead our HR department with excellence, champion our staff, and align HR efforts with the strategic goals of the organization. We are grateful for her leadership and dedication!

We are also proud to announce Tasia Wilson as our new State Specialized Program Director! This new role will lead programs that operate outside—but remain connected to—our core Integrated Student Support work, including the Full Service Community School program and statewide Alumni programming. Tasia has led our Full Service Program with excellence over the past year and brings valuable experience from her time with the Memphis CIS affiliate. She will play a critical role in shaping alumni case management standards, strategies, and statewide support, especially as we prepare for the opening of the Shaquille O’Neal Alumni Center next year. We can’t wait to see the innovative work she’ll lead in this exciting new chapter!
